64.5% of voters said that Telangana was not good for India!

If majority people don't want Andhra Pradesh to be bifurcated, then why is Congress party going against people's wishes?!!!

For votes?!!! For petty reasons? Electoral considerations?

"In a poll on India Real Time, 64.5% of voters said that Telangana was not good for India. Around 28.3% voted in favor of the new state and 7.2% said they didn’t care when asked whether Telangana was good for India."
